Since we have pivoted to focus on our software we have been moving at a lightning pace. We want to address a question we have been getting regarding compatibility. For the initial release of our software we will be supporting three drone models from DJI. After that initial release we will be continually looking to add new drones from multiple manufacturers to our software. Here is a break down of the three drones we will be supporting at launch:
After the initial launch we will be looking to add support for the DJI Phantom 3 Standard and the 3DR Solo, at which point we will be evaluating additional manufacturers.
Airnest enters beta testing
We are excited to let you know that we have been able to adapt our software much quicker than we anticipated. We have been working on this for a few weeks now and it is moving along very nicely. Our plans are to publish it to the App Store by the end of September or sooner. After the iOS app is published we will be porting it to Android.
Below is a simple fly-over followed by a general establishing shot. Both shots are controlled entirely by the Airnest app as we did nothing but draw the flight path and tap a button...the drone and app did all of the work. These shots were filmed in 4K using the DJI Phantom 3 Professional.
