Today's the Day - The Drone Racing League is Here

After months of hype and build up, today is the day when you can tune in to watch the first ever official race in the DRL calendar. It's the moment that FPV Drone Racing fans from around the world have been eagerly anticipating for a while now, and we're expecting big things, incredible racing and maybe one or two spectacular crashes...

The DRL's first ever race is taking place in the home of the Miami Dolphins, and some of the best drone pilots from across the globe are ready to battle through a unique, high-tech course that winds through the stadium. The race has already happened, but the Drone Racing League has chosen to release each of its races in neat, edited episodes rather than just stream them live.

This makes sense considering the need to make the most of incredible FPV footage while using the standard cameras you normally have at sports events. This is the course the pilots will be flying...

You can tune in to the race from Miami at 12 noon EST, but today it's believed that DRL will just be showing the qualifying rounds, with the full race to be released later in the week. You can watch it from the races section of their website. Enjoy!
